Project 1 : Design thesis proposal
Synopsis
The thesis proposal defense defines the research framework and focus of the thesis to the panel
of examiners. The expected outcomes include a self-formulated design brief for the proposed
architectural thesis in response to critical analysis and research.
Objectives
The objectives of this task are to:
1. Formulate and agree the ‘research aim’ of the thesis
2. Formulate and agree the ‘research question(s) related to the research aim
3. Draft a strategy to achieve the research aim and answer the research questions
