Project 1 : Final Design thesis proposal
Synopsis
Students are expected to resolve their design scheme from the Architectural Design Thesis I. The schematic design scheme will be developed into a more advanced and detailed design phase where aspects of design feasibility, construction and buildability that address the issues and contextual responses. Integration of construction, technology and environmental considerations will form the basis to develop the design hypothesis.
Objectives
The objectives of this task are to:
1. To give emphasis on integral relationship between architectural design and theoretical enquiry.
2. To develop and produce a justified architectural design proposal derived from the research
analysis and schematic design from Architectural Design Thesis I.
3. To acquire technical competency in response to environmental consciousness, innovative
technology and adequate building services in building operation.
