Project 2: materiality of space - an experiential exploration
This assignment is to allow us to understand the building materials that are commonly used in the construction industry. The selected spaces or building will allow us to understand the reason behind the choices made by designers in terms of concepts and its function.
In groups of 6, we select an interesting building to explore most of the building materials covered in the module based on that building. Next, we are required to digitally produce98 A2 boards, 3 as a group and one individual board from each of based on our research and perception.
Our team selected the Kuala lumpur Performing Arts Centre.

Reflection
This project allows us to understand deeper of the materials used of the building. Every materials are interesting and has its own unique charateristics and usage. Usage of materials are very important because it gives different kind of sense and feel to the space and the user.
