1. To show understanding of artificial lighting and daylighting strategies (PSALI) in their final design.
2. To solve design problems in relation to sustainability issues (natural lighting, site analysis).
3. To design spaces incorporating artificial and daylighting (when necessary).

Reflection
The module and projects have given me the opportunity to observe and appreciate small details in the implementation of acoustic and lighting design in buildings, which is something we usually take for granted.
I have gained immense knowledge on the mechanism of each category of application while at the same time gained a newfound appreciation towards the importance of building science in the daily life. This module has also helped me in obtaining a first hand look at the applications of the theories I learned in the classroom.
I would like to thank both Mr. Azim and Ar. Edwin for carefully designing this module and projects, as well as passionately guiding the students along the way towards the completion of the module.
